I didn’t go to the gym. Instead, I worked out a little after work at home. It was 30 pushups and like 5 seconds of roller abs. Some may not even consider it a workout. But I haven’t been even doing that for the past few weeks, so I’ll take it.
To analyze why I didn’t go to the gym, I seem to have a hard time getting quality sleep. I wake up at 9am still feeling groggy. Before I used to wake up at 7am refreshed. Of course, I did sleep earlier, 10-11pm. Comparatively, I am writing this at 12:38pm. But that doesn’t explain the poor quality of sleep. I think it’s two things: one, the caffeine, and two, exercise. Recently, I’ve been drinking so much diet coke, it’s absurd. I liked the occasion trips to burger king for soda but I think I drank soda every day for about a month now. I need to cut it. Perhaps I’ll start by reducing it to one can at work since it’s so readily available. But as I’m writing this, I think that’d be a stupid idea since it will just turn it in to a habit. I’ll cut it cold turkey. I’ll be drinking tea in the morning for some caffeine and relaxation. As for exercise, I’m working on it.
Work has been getting better in the sense that I’ve assimilated with my co-workers.
