Nothing much today. I didn’t end up going to workout or to the library.
I went to the work and time just flew since it was busy. During the end of my shift, I met an old friend of mine. She was one of the first friends I’ve met when I first moved into the city.
To be honest, I was scared to talk to her. It’s been nearly 10 years since we last talked, and I was working as a waiter… But near the end of her meal, I felt like she was someone I was going to talk to one day or another, so it’d be stupid to not share my life. I grabbed some ice creams to give and approached her. Turns out she knew it was me from the start, but the name tag I had thrown her off (I changed my name, and she only knew me by my old name). Anyways, it turned out much more enjoyable to talk to her than I thought. Glad I approached her and didn’t hide behind my unnecessary sense of fear.
